2010 Comp Submissions
Submissions are now closed. Thanks to all the artists who submitted! We received about 675 submissions this year, the most ever. Now the volunteer voting process begins.
A little about this process: This year we have about 70 listener volunteers, split into 7 groups of 10. The submissions are anonymized and each group listens and votes on about 100 submissions each. The top voted tracks from each group go to the board, where the voting process happens again to narrow these tracks down to around 40, or enough to fill our 2 CD compilation.

This book is a collection of hundreds of photographs by 16 different photographers that visually document the tremendous variety of artists that have performed at PDX Pop Now! festivals and events during the first five years of our existence, 2004-2008. All proceeds from the book will directly benefit PDX Pop Now! so we can continue to operate and expand our reach for years to come. Thank you for your support!

Support Music In The Schools on June 11

One of Portland’s most inspiring events is back, and it deserves all of our support. Music In The Schools – an organization founded and run by high school students from across Portland – is presenting their third annual benefit concert on Thursday, June 11. The funds raised will go to Portland Public Schools music programs. This is a hat trick, folks; by coming to the show you are supporting music education, local music, and youth action. Oh, and did we mention who is playing? Some big name Portlanders, and some rising, young local high school bands. Have a look:
